I basically want to change this so that they look like "Program Files" or "Recovery.txt", so without any highlighting. The highlighting I want to remove can be seen in the pic below on "ProgramData", "Projects", "Python" and "Recovery". My default shell is zsh, or to be more specific oh-my-zsh with agnoster theme. I am using Windows Terminal and running WSL with Ubuntu. Secondly, my Windows directory is located at /mnt/c/Users/lance, this makes navigating between Linux and Windows tedious, and some of my projects references my local Windows directory, so I have to change all 'm trying to change the highlight colors in my shell for WSL, but there's a lot going on here so I'm not sure where to look. However, after using it a few days, I find that it makes my life harder.įirst of all, I have to install all my packages in Linux, such as NodeJS and Python (I know.Ubuntu comes with Python preinstalled, but I need to upgrade it to > 3.6 to get some new features working). A few days back I wrote an article talking about using the Windows Subsystem for Linux, zsh, oh-my-zsh and Hyper as my Windows terminal/development solution.
